For two years, Sassafras Magill has been supporting her boyfriend's education and living expenses, as he studies law, hoping they'll marry after he graduates. He finally graduates, passes the BAR, and accepts a job offer in New York. Because Sassy has Cerebral Palsy and is handicapped, he’s embarrassed to take her with him to his new job. He breaks up with her at dinner. She is so incensed and hurt, she humiliates him in front of many prominent people in town. A few days later, he’s found dead at the city park with his head crushed by a rock. Sassy is the only suspect and has motive, so she’s arrested and charged with his murder. Darcy Jean Bower, and her best friend, beautiful and eccentric Millicent Cooper, set out to find the real killer. From a long list of suspects, they must find the killer or Sassy goes to jail.

The local police seem ambivalent, and their aunt comes in with a forgotten Power of Attorney signed by their Father, Daniel, and tries to take control of the Real Estate holdings. The brother and sister team begin a power struggle and are physically threatened by unknown thugs which results in Mickey’s girlfriend disappearance which is presumed dead and Darcy Jean in hiding. James, Mickey’s best friend, a disfigured Ex-Military Black Ops operative, assists in the hunt to put a stop to the “takeover”.

Landlord Mickey Ray Christianson is walking the grounds of his apartment complex late one afternoon, and he sees a little girl in a wheelchair sitting all alone. He sits down beside her and begins talking. He then finds out that her mother left her, intending to return. But when the child’s mother doesn’t return, Mickey has the gut feeling that something has gone awry and calls his sister, Darcy, to run a background check on her parents. After Darcy gets permission from the Department of Child’s Services to take custody of the child, Carrie, Mickey Ray, and his best friend, James, go hunting for Carrie’s parents, assuming they were kidnapped. With help from some of James’ past Black Ops teammates, a find-and-rescue operation takes place. After a suspenseful mission and a lot of action, Mickey reunites Carrie with her parents.

Synopsis of "Dead Body"
After many months of preparation, construction has begun on a new apartment complex. On the very first day, a worker with a backhoe, digs up a body of a young lady. After the police identify the victim, it turns out that Mickey Ray Christianson and his sister Darcy Jean Bower went to school with her. The victim, Betty Duncan was single, pregnant and lived with her mother in one of their apartments, so Mickey and his best friend and brother-in-law, James Bower set out to find her killer. They start with the obvious suspects, the baby daddy. Along the way, Mickey connects with one of his old school mates and thinks he's falling in love with her. After tracking down several leads and dead ends, the case is solved with a huge twist for Mickey, and all involved.

Synopsis of Time at the Spa
Mickey Ray is driving home from Oregon back to Virginia when he stops for lunch at a local restaurant just off the interstate. When someone approaches the table he’s sharing with a beautiful young Asian lady, Mickey gets into an altercation. He’s wounded in the fracas, and wakes up with total amnesia, in a hospital room with a gunshot wound in his side. He finds out he’s being treated at an undisclosed Health Spa somewhere out west. During his recovery, Mickey learns the Spa caters to the rich and famous for their private retreats. And to top it off, the Yakuza (the Japanese Mafia) is trying to gain control of the Healing Health Spa. The Mongoose team is looking for him and when they find him, they agree to help Mickey save the spa from the takeover. A hostile takeover begins with a conflict between the spa, the Yakuza, and some illegal aliens brought in as human shields during the battle. The Mongoose team is soon aware a well-armed civilian army severely outnumbers them, and they are literally fighting for their lives.
While there, the spa director assigns Mickey a personal assistant AI. As time progresses, the AI becomes sentient, or self-aware, and to add to the mix, thinks it has fallen in love with Mickey Ray.
When the battle starts, some of the spa staff and a couple of guests assist the Mongoose team and the explosive action continues to the very end.

Mickey Ray is in his office one day, and a beautiful young lady has an appointment to see him. Catherine Raynor of CRM Fashions of New York offers to sell him one of her apartment complexes. When Mickey asks why she wants to sell, she explains to him that there was a fire in her clothing factory. Because the fire was determined to be arson, the insurance won’t pay off. Even if she can prove that it was not arson, the insurance payout will not cover enough to rebuild and save the family business. She needs cash, and the police are trying to pin the fire on her and send her to jail for insurance fraud. Mickey agrees to help her, so he calls in the Mongoose team to help prove her innocence.
